Shrink Wrapping/ Overwrapping/ Poly Bagging
Shrink wrapping, overwrapping, and poly bagging are popular packaging solutions when you need to package multiple products together.
Shrink wrapping is the process of surrounding the product with a polymer plastic that will shrink tightly when heat is applied.
Overwrapping is often used when the product has already been packaged individually but needs to be packaged in multiples or needs packaging for security reasons. Overwrapping can be done with paper or plastic and is most recognized for the neatly folded seal.
Poly bagging can be used in a wide variety of ways; with a header card, closed off with a hang tab, or sealed off.

Blister & Clamshell Sealing
Schmid & Son will provide you with your blister and RF Clamshell sealing. In addition to the service of packaging your items, we can provide you the materials you need to complete your own products.
Blister packaging contains a pre-formed plastic which surrounds the front of the products and a hard paper backing.
RF Clamshell Sealing surrounds the product in a hard plastic and seals the edges by using radio frequency for a smooth finish. Clamshell sealing is used when you need high security but still need the product to be visible.
